Run by John Birch and Lesley De La Mare who between them have many years of experience in all aspects of design for print.

John trained originally as a compositor and typographer but decided that Graphic Design was where he wanted to excel.

After completing a three-year graphic design course in only two, he went into the field of publishing. It was here he learnt the craft of producing well presented and exciting magazines.

In 1981 he became Creative Director of a medium sized design consultancy in Covent Garden specialising in holiday brochures and corporate identity.

It was here that he met Lesley De La Mare, a complete creative all rounder working in the studio and responsible for some of the main accounts.

Since 1990 they have together been running ‘Design Matters Too Ltd’. As the name implies, the philosophy is that design matters too, whether it is a simple business card or a full blown corporate identity, from single sided leaflets to a 196 page travel brochure.

We never forget that design is a very subjective element but we always strive to give our clients what they want.
